Big change in diet, no change in energy levels!

If you believe everything you read, you need to eat plenty of bread, pasta and potatoes for energy as these are carbohydrates, right?

Well, I would class myself as a very active person and I have discovered something quite interesting.

I have drastically reduced the wheat, grain and dairy from my diet and I have found no difference in my energy levels at all.

I also play five a side football once a week and I have maintained a high performance level without these food groups. I have been eating a lot of vegetables and fruit instead.

I also always used to have an "energy drink" prior to my more excessive exercise, I don't now and I haven't noticed a difference! Could this be all in the mind?

I believe it is worth a try for anyone, just for one day at first, to reduce the grains, wheat and dairy to see how they feel. I feel great with no reduction in performance!

Try it, see how you feel!
